On July 6, 2024, a major update for the Loca app will be released, so you need to update the app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store starting July 6. If you don’t update in time, the app will no longer function properly after this date.
Tip: Are there multiple users using the Loca app? Please inform all users who use the Loca app.
If you have forgotten your password, or are unable to log in, you can always reset your password. You can do this by going to the RESETPASSWORD Enter the email address you use to log in and you will receive an email to reset your password.
This is probably because your Loca is unable to connect to GPS, so your Loca is giving an LBS position. Read our tips & tricks for how to avoid this here.
If you change your Loca frequency, this will be processed at the next position received.
Example 1:
- You receive a position once a day at 10:00.
- You adjust the frequency at 21:30 hours to every 4 hours with the time being 10:00.
- You then receive a position every 4 hours starting at 10:00 the next day.
Example 2:
- You receive a position once a day at 10:00.
- You adjust the frequency at 21:30 hours to every 4 hours with the time being 09:00.
- Your setting will then be processed at 10:00 the next day.
- A position will only be sent every 4 hours from 9:00 the following day.
You cannot recharge the Loca battery, but you can replace it starting from €39.
